For those with the MID you have to select the timer functions (press the clock face button on the lower right side of MID)...and you'll see VENT ON & 1 TIMER 2 :
FYI: the VENT ON as well as the Nav's AUX VENT (direct mode) can only be accessed when the ignition is in KL R (ignition position 1)
