However, in version 27.1, "end destination" works fine, and takes you to the address input screen - and it seems to stay there - not very nice to look at. If I select "maps" mode, it starts to give me directions to the last destination input, which is not what I want it to do.
Has anyone worked out how to show the map on the screen, but without it trying to give directions to anywhere?

does it give audio directions, or just show on the map? my old nav OS did that as well...after i hit "terminate guidance", the map would still show the route to the last destination unless i put in another destination or turned the car off and exited. i think it's just part of the software
