Two months ago, I bought from Ebay a 3rd Gen ULF and a cradle with pairing button, in order to replace my BMW Professional phone.
Removed old TCU and phone from armrest, replaced the new cradle (in armrest) and ULF (in left side of trunk), followed pairing instructions and everything worked immediately EXCEPT for the VOICE ACTIVATION and VOICE INSTRUCTIONS (eg DIAL NUMBER, etc).
Had to pay a visit to the local dealer in Greece, told him about my personal retrofit and asked him to connect his computer to the car and ACTIVATE the VOICE option in the ULF, which he did (
with me pointing him the right checkbox on the screen of his diagnosis PC). I was charged 20 EUROs for the visit.
I'm not sure about the SA620 option...
