Well in all honesty they may not have. I believe the top screws are a different length from the bottom which calls for the user to find out what works with the original plate holder. Those screws if placed properly would prevent the user from screwing them in so tight that they go thru and bite the paint. If you buy a new or different or upgraded plate then the screws may not fit.

Just go and buy some new ones........
