Part# 2 on the depiction linked to above is what I usually change for customers, and can easily be a DIY job. If you want to, you can also remove it and remove the paint with a mild solvent safe for the plastic and paint it any color you want. I had one customer with a body kitted X5 that had his paint matched to the body along with the woodgrains... kinda looked bad though.
