Thanks guys. Honestly the trucks are amazing in person. Pictures don't do justice to the body lines and paint color. The blue is extremely unique. Looking back at the pictures you can see the silver sheen and light reflects off it like light on a crystal.
A few items I noticed:
-The rear bumper vents are fake. Why?
-The truck has a secondary oil-cooler that lays flat in front the bumper. They are actually making use of every bit of air passing through those huge vents!
-The brake rotors and front calipers are HUGE in person!!!!!
-The front bumper looks like rock nicks will be a huge problem. I'm not a fan of clear bras, however, we might not have a choice with this.
-Bent fins on the heat exchangers will be a visual problem as the demo truck already showed signs of wear.
-The steering wheel felt thinner then the M3's. Maybe it was just imagination.
-The wheel gap is HORRIBLE! Lowering will be a must, however, I hate to mess with the perfection that went into developing this ride.
-The leather carbon trim looks GREAT! Much better then in the M3.
-Oddly both trucks were using the X5 ///M wheels.
-However, the X5 ///M wheels look great in person. They match the reflective blue color extremely well.
-I was told the special X ///M black color is even more amazing then the red and blue. It will be a tough choice between blue, black, grey or white.
The only thing that’s lingering on my mind is the idea that its a 100k car with options and tax. 85k out the door I would be fine with, but 100k is going to be rough.
