I have Merino leather (non perf). It is a bit more softer as nevada. I love it. BMW states the colour of the leather is through and through. So if you get a scratch the colour will still be the same.

I'm not sure if this is 100% correct, I have a small scratch on the driver seat and it is grey underneath.
