BMWNA purchased by '09 last Tuesday at my request. About a 3 month process from when I first submitted claim. The reason for buyback - "Days of Service" meaning days I did not have vehicle.

I must say we are pleased with the way this was handled. We were given a weekly update even if it was to say "nothing this week".

Now we have to replace it. Looking at a 2011 X5 35d Sport, Tech, Prem, adaptive drive, 214's or a 35i Sport Activity, tech, adaptive drive. Just can't find units with adaptive drive unless it is the M Sport pkg.

Drove a 35i - I like it. The new engine and tranny combo will make it tough to choose over a 35d. Still getting offered the Eco-credit of $4500. And the clatter and grunt is so sweet!

They did fix the oil leak.
