You would NOTbelieve how easy it may turn out to be to fix a (Self level suspension) issue sometime. However, this happened to me many times since I owned my (01 X5 4.4i) specially when you parked your vehicle with one side higher than other, as an example: when park on heavy snow, the ice will likely trigger the sensors under the car and that will cause the signal to send out on your dashboard as: (SELF LEVEL SUSP. INACT.)

Once snow has been cleared a little bit, the message most often disappear by itself by going in reverse a little bit and move forward or start the engine over.
Also it happened to me twice that way by having (a fuse that power this system) blown out. On (01 BMW X5 4.4i) like mine, it should be the 1st fuse as you open the right side panel in the trunk. And once replaced by the same fuse number, you may start the car or turn the key to power accessories and you will notice or may hear the rear vehicle lifting back-up.

You all done!!!
just say thx to Godddd!
