X5 "M" Launch Control-Viewed Up Close

I realize this post is worthless w/o a vid...but thought I would pass this along.Got behind an X5M in traffic last week being driven home by a test engineer.Guy did a full on Launch Control start from a traffic light.Amazing sights and sounds. The car physically dropped 2 or so inches when the rev's were building against the set brakes. You could visually see the car shaking and moving just slightly as this guy waited for the light to change. It really did remind me of a big cat crouching just before leaping at prey.Once the light changed the car did appear to leap off the light......the look of all this exaggerated by the movement of the body/frame vs the suspension.I had seen BMW test the Launch Control at a distance on the test track.Up close and personal will make the hair stand up on the back of your neck.Kick ass SAV!!!!! Thanks! PalBay

I like the dark blue or black exterior color of all the 4 colors. Very limited color selection.

Oh good, does that mean there won't be Estoril on the new X5M? Cool

The 4 colors are just the M-Exclusive paint colors. The standard BMW colors will be offered as well (White, Black, Gray, Etc.).
BMW has also introduced the new Monte Carlo Blue metallic for the new X5/6 M.

BTW, I would like to know what people think of the 2 wheel options. I believe we only saw 1 before, so what do you think of the other?

My sales manager said a fully loaded X5 M will be USD $151,000 (AED $550,000). I would estimate a loaded X5 M in the US to be about $105,000.
