I've owned a '01 3.0 (manual), '02 4.6is and my current 4.8is.
Hands down for the E53, the 4.8is is the king in all aspects, driving conditions, etc...

For the E70, we'll see.

Euro pickup? That will only be advailable for Euro customers.

During one of the ///M driving events one of the X ///M marketing employees called BMQ HQ on my behalf to get more detail on the whole Euro delivery and ///M driving event.

I was told that the trucks will be built in the US (engines built in Germany) and Euro pickup will only be advailable for Euro customers. Basically, it wouldn't make sense to build the trucks in the US, ship to Germany for Euro delivery and ship back to the US. The X5 & X6 ///M driving event that we've all been told about is totally seperate from Euro delivery and is offered to anyone (regardless of euro pickup, etc...).

That's what i thought but my "guy" at bmw said i can do it ? He said what you said about them being built here ect. but for the Euro trip he said it may be brought there or one like it could be used. I even said to him that it didnt make sense to build it here then ship it over ? I am just going on what i was told but I think your right and believed that before I was told what I just said...idk. Bottom line is we just have to wait....
One way or the other i'll have it for a "euro trip" soon. i am not that worried about it..

From what I have heard is the cars you drive in Euro will not be your car(just some X5 M for this purpose) and your car will come straight from SC.
