Thats not a camera on the side view mirror. Its the courtesy curb lighting that all the current models have.

^ that makes more sense. I would have figured they would have put them in the door handles though, like the 3-series...

Wow after going through the catalog and viewing the visualizer I'm even more eager to get one! But of course I would have to persuade my dad to to buy the X5 M.

I got to sit in one and rev it up and such last month when I was at training in Atlanta... sounds of a high revving beast! I can't wait to see some with aftermarket exhaust from Dinan, supersprint or remus!

Same here, deposit is down, I just need to review the options and build it out.
Crossing fingers I will get a decent trade-in on my 4.8is.

I expect dealers will start the ordering process sometime in mid-August.

I could almost 100% guarantee you that your trade in will be some number less $2500 back of blue book.

I'd try to sell it now if I were you.. And if it sells, rent a car for a month or so.

Or, you might want to hold onto the 4.8is until the price of the X5M levels. I don't expect premiums off the bat, economy is too bad.. But I don't expect big discounts either.

Put it in our SAV classified section. Lot of interested folks. You never know. Dealer will beat you on trade-in. I have been there with my previous X5. I sold it in 6 weeks of ordering. Had to rent for 2 weeks. Nice deals on rentals these days or get a MINI.
