Yep. Pricing is correct.

I am also informed that one CAN order other options.

We were able to order:

Piano black trim
Comfort seats/ventilated

The cost was nuts for the ventilated seats, however. We ended up ordering the standard Aluminum shadow trim, and stuck with the regular, M seats for our X6M.

I saw the carbon fiber look leather trim and it looks awesome! What were you quoted for comfort seats and for ventilated seats? I have the ventilated seats in my 4.8i right now and I don't think I would pay for them again. You can barely feel the vents in the seats at all. The perforated leather is a pain to keep clean as dust, crumbs etc all get into the little holes and are impossible to clean! What color combo did you get, and did you haggle them on the price?

Exactly. I have had these seats in one of my cars and they are nothing but pain. Never again.

Here is an excerpt from the email that I received:

Ventilated Seats, Manual Side Sunshades and Piano Black Trim can be special ordered on X6 M. Please see below wholesale costs and restrictions.

Ventilated Seats. WS $1,425. Must be ordered with Comfort Seats. Hence, the vehicle will not have M Seats. Comfort Seats to be special ordered separately. See below for the cost.
Ventilated Seats with Full Merino Leather are available in three colours: Black, Silverstone and Bamboo Beige.

Comfort Seats. WS $665

Manual Side Sunshades: $300

Piano Black Trim: $715

Please also add $400 special order fee.

Regards,
John

Not worth it, we thought. We did order the manual side sunshades, though. Expensive touch, as we will likely have to pay the $400 special order fee, but they are a must have, we think!

To be honest, we haven't even discussed pricing as of yet - my sales advisor is FANTASTIC - he is a friend, and we know he will push as far as he can with the price. I anticipate perhaps $3000 off retail, which isn't great, but there are actually people queued up for them around here (seem to be in stark contrast to down south - I think relatively, the M's are a bargain in Canada - once you load up a US vehicle to the same standard as a Canadian one, and factor in exchange, ours are actually cheaper!! Imagine that.)

Hope the info helps!

Well I wouldn't say they are cheaper in Canada, but probably for the first time in history they are priced very closely give or take a couple of grand.

I priced out a fully loaded X5M on cars.com with every possible factory option, and it came to US$100,825 (CD$107,761)

A fully equipped X5M priced as per Canadian dealer spec sheet comes to CD$109,850.

I did not add in comfort seats, vent seats or side shades which you mentioned can also be ordered. I'm not sure the US spec had it in the price either. That would then push the price to CD$112,640 plus freight, PDI, etc.

The X5M sitting at my local dealer is priced at CD$116,000 and change!
