Actually, this is a great idea. I have that dent in my resonator that causes the drone at 2k rpm. I was thinking maybe replace that shit with and H pipe. Where does one buy one, or do you guys get it welded up at a shop?

My Magnaflow x-pipe has just arrived in the mail. Booked the car in for next Thursday at a local muffler shop to have it installed. Can't wait!

I have just installed an Eisenmann Race Exhaust and with this setup I will have no need to install the X pipe. So I am leaving in the factory Resonator. Boy does this X5 sound aggressive and mean. Just the right amount of exhaust sound.

Modded- X pipe in place of res, no mufflers,

Car is a little cold in this one, it tones down slighty when hotter

Torque more for H pipe. X pipe more top end HP.

Ahhhh, gotcha. I'd probably do H-pipe then, but I need to ride in a 3.0 with it, the friggin RPM's are like 3800 at 80 mph, so for highway cruising I am worried about drone.
