Finally got a chance to hook up INPA. First read codes and saw nothing related to cooling/Aux fan. The. Tried manually activating aux using INPA and was unable to do so. INPA showed aux on but the fan was not moving. AC was not blowing cold either. Went for a drive and the cold air started blowing and so did the aux fan. So it sounds like the aux fan is bad. But wouldn't the ECM have codes stored regarding it if it was bad?
Also I found a Behr Aux fan at FCPEuro for $360 and free shipping. Sounds too cheap to be true! Is that legitimate site?

FCPeuro is a legitimate site. If you shop around you'll find that Behr aux fan is about that price.

I also tried the INPA after driving the car around and interestingly could not get the fan to activate. Even more interesting is as soon I unplugged iNPA I heard the fan turn on automatically for a few seconds. So I loaded up GT1 and tried to activate the electric fan. And once I pressed the activate button the fan activated and kept picking up speed and I thought it was going to blow up as I have never heard it run at that speed before. So now that leads me to believe that the fan is not bad after all. Back to the drawing board. Any other suggestions?

Sounds like a bad controller board for the fan. Doesn't work all the time and when activated with GT1 it spins too fast.
Bad controller board equal new fan.

I may be having some similar problems. AC nice and cold at first then it seems that the ductwork cuts off the output to the dash no matter what the settings. Even if I go to manual and fan is blowing hard (can hear the fan speed increase) very little output in the dash registers (or seemingly floor or window either). Anybody had similar symptoms. This is the model of controller with the "rest" button not "max" button. 2001

That actually does make sense. It slows down over the first 10 minutes or so and "comes right back to life" with a 10 minute rest stop with high ambient temp. I'll report back

Help with air conditioning
Put on the AC manifold and has numbers like 35/210. Meager output. The refill kit suggested 42-47 at 82F so I put in 40psi.
I was able to get vent temp below 60 and more importantly air kept flowing. We drove about 40 minutes directly into the sun and AC was having a hard time keeping up but was blowing cool air the whole time. I brought my manifold kit with. Now the ambient was 90+ (dash outside temp 100-101°F) and refill gauge ambient offset suggested 45#. I added enough to get just about 45# low and was able to get vent temps in the low 50s. On the way home driving with back to the sun and on auto but recirculating air was able to measure cabin temp of 73F by stick shift (out of air stream) with control set at 72/70 (always warmer on passenger side). Vent temp with ambient of 88°F was below 40F in center and 44°F on the right window vent. Now I just have to do mine. Sent from my awrPhone using Tapatalku
