Subadub for pics!! Love how those wheels look. Not helping my itch at all, I've been contemplating on giving my X an update this summer, as in new wheels... Actually kinda scoped out what I want, I've been looking at Morr wheels, kinda in the style you got, but with a bit of a lip... Waiting for more pics... That color will be perfectly gorgeous against your Imola...

Thanks. I think they'll set it off nicely. *fingers crossed*

Some of those Morr wheels look amazing. Not sure what offset options they offer. A quick google search turned up some bad Morr stories. Googling Forgestar does the same, but mostly from years back. I was a bit worried in the beginning going with Forgestar, but I'm glad I did now.

How much do a set of Morr wheels run? I found prices of $1600... but I don't know what size that was for.

I'll have to call a Morr dealer to get pricing, but from what I gathered, their wheels are all custom made. Like you said a set of 9.5/10.5 should run me about the same as your wheels did, I would like to go 10/11 tho, and they would probably be a bit more.. Can't wait to see how that rear tire looks on yours!! This has been my reference point...

^That is beautiful... but those are 21's no? Not enough sidewall on those tires for me, looks amazing though.

Teasers, sorry to do it guys... but just got back from Houston and the car needs a bath badly before doing proper shots. Will update in the next few days with proper pictures.

Put about 200 miles on them today. And holy crap does ditching the RFT's give you a smoother ride. I realize these have slightly taller sidewalls... but still. It was night and day to both my wife and I. Amazing difference to ride quality, noise, and comfort. Will weigh the factory wheel/tire setups tomorrow to find out if I dropped any weight, but it sure feels like I did.

Those are looking mighty beautiful on the X. You do realize that with that level of open space behind the wheel of the X5 your gonna need a BBK to properly complement that area? Oh hos I so wish BMW made big brake calipers for the X that would just look proper behind a set of wheels.

Thank you... and yes I am fully aware of the need for BBK. LOL I was saving to buy RevJunky's that have been in the FS section forever... but he sold them last week I believe. Such is life though I suppose.

Ordered a complete set of new brakes shortly after his sold and will be removing the calipers to paint them during the brake replacement. They'll still be "small" but at least they'll be bright. lol.

Yeah that brembo set that was for sale is the bomb. I am going to go the way of the stoptech ST40 for my X5.

Looks smokin!! Can't wait to see full pictures of her... Yeah, the 21's definitely look more proportionate on the E70 than the E53, and I can only imagine what would happen if you hit a pothole, lol...
