clicking noise in seat belt strap holder

I am noticing a clicking noise in the plastic part of the seat belt mechanism that holds the belt.

The part which you can adjust up or down near your left year (in the US)

Is ther some lubricant I can use to stop this.

thanks

Seat belt clicking noise

Ditto, drives me mad. I've removed the whole internal trim around the drivers seat belt post and tried tape, WD40 etc. to try and stop it with no success. Its the internal part that moves from left to right with the seat belt that seems to make the noise. Dealer has no suggestions. Wouldn't be so bad but its right next to your ear! Anyone with any advise to stop it would be greatly appreciated.
