Is there a seperate washer fluid tank for the rear wiper?

Ever since I bought my X5 back in febuary my rear window sprayer doesn't work. I'm not sure if the fill tank is empty of the pump is shot. Do all X5 have this or is it an option? I see the hole mounted near the 3rd brake light and push the arm on the steering column but no spraying? ANy ideas...

Same tank but 2 pumps, you can remove the pump really easy (just pull them out) and check the screen for clogs. If you use a lot of that blue fluid it has a tendency to leave this gook in the filter screen and prevents the water from getting to the pump. If there is no clogs switch the 2 pumps and see if the back works and not the front, then you know you have a defective pump. About 25 bucks will solve that.

Thanks again, I just switch the pumps and now the rear worked but the front didn't. So the pump is shot. I just ordered a new one $16.99 shipped. Send me the bill, lol!

How do you take the pump out,? Do you have to take the tank out first and how to disconnect the line?
