Where is the BlueTooth module in my X5?

I just bought a 2005 X5 4.4i...and love it! Unfortunately, the card that shows the bluetooth PK (Pass Key) is not with the vehicle, but I understand the PK is also shown on the bluetooth module. Can anyone tell me where the bluetooth module is located in the vehicle??? Also, is there any other way to find the PK?

Thanks, Patrick

Should be in the rear drivers side compartment. Down by the amplifier if you have DSP.

The BT/ULF module is located in beneath the CD changer in the trunk on the driver side .

You can see the BT module in the bottom left corner in the picture below

I have also a few collected notes on my BT retrofit at

http://www.janixworld.com/x5/phone/

However there's a more extensive BT section on X5world

Thanks to everyone for the quick responses! This is a great website and I hope to be able to be of assistance to other members in the near future!

With your help, I did locate the bluetooth module. Unfortunately, I did not locate a PK sticker on it. When I have more time, I may try to remove the module to see if the sticker is on the back side of the module. If all else fails, I'll just take it by the dealership so they can find the PK with their computer.

Thanks again for everyone's help!

Patrick
