Has anyone used Quixx scratch repair kit?

I've used a Langka repair kit on my arctic silver Z3 (also have a couple of small scratches on the X5) but wasn't happy with the results. I know metallic paints are hard to repair, but the repair was probably more noticeable than the scratch. There is a German repair kit called Quixx, Bavarian Autosport carries it. Has anyone used it? Any 2 cents on it?

I've never used either. BMW makes a kit and although I've never used that one as well, I'd be more likely to try the factory fix before anything aftermarket. I believe it's BMW Colorsystem paint scratch remover. P/N 51 91 0 410 163

I was talking to my body repair lady today and man does she have a body-but I digress. If the scratch is in just the clear coat then she said very lightly wet sand with 2500 grit -then porter cable carfully with 3M machine polish then 3M swirl mark remover -then wax. I have done this on my Porsche Twin turbo before (midnite blue) with great results - just be careful. The 3M products are the best in the business and very resonably priced.

Thanks, OG. Unfortunately the scratch is deep enough to go into the paint, and about 2 inches long. I don't believe I see any primer, though. I do have the products and the PC unit you suggested. Think I should give it a try anyway??

Thanks for the info. I wasn't aware BMW had such a kit. I do have the proper OEM paint for it though.
