Question Q for those who installed a backup camera(E53)

Hey guys.
I have a question about a OEM backup camera for E53

when you put R(reverse) then... view will be displayed on nav screen, right? but before there's a clear view from camera i've seen some sort of signal lacking moment.
(i don't see anything but some horizontal lines only for about 1/2 second~1second) I know it's a really "short" moment but it makes me feel not really great.
you guys have the same moment as i have now??

(oh by the way, when i shift back to D or P, i've seen a flipping moment from rearview to navigation.(it's not like changing channels on tv. it's not a neat moment.)

I have an aftermarket camera, and it does a very very brief flicker while the system adjusts to the new input source. Nothing I get concerned about, though.

We have closed circuit cameras in our buildings for security purposes. When each camera is turned on, screen flickers briefly before the picture comes on screen. It was explained to me that the industrial cameras lack the flicker cancellation programming and circuitry normally built into personal video cameras. People would see the flicker and think that something is wrong with their video camera which is why the manufacturers eliminated the flicker from being seen.

I had the same problem, the nav. screen would from time to time flicker when I would be driving down the road as well as some flickering when in reverse. They had to install a resistor to the cameras power supply which comes off of the back up lights. I believe this is mentioned in another thread somewhere here.
I know have no problems or flickers since the resistor install.
