face lift head light wiring

04/05 left head light
pin #1-BL/GN (direction indicator)
pin #2-BR
pin #3-GE/GN (xenon)
pin #4-BR
pin #5-SW/VI (not used for the older x5 its the bi-xenon)
pin #6-WS/GN (high beam)
pin #7-GR/GN (angel eyes)
pin #8-GE/RT (healight vertical aim)
pin #9-GE/BR (healight vertical aim)
pin #10-BL/RT (healight vertical aim)
pin #11-BL/BR (healight vertical aim)

04/05 right head light
pin #1-BL/BR (direction indicator)
pin #2-BR
pin #3-GE/BL (xenon)
pin #4-BR
pin #5-SW/VI (not used for the older x5 its the bi-xenon)
pin #6-WS/BL (high beam)
pin #7-GR/BL (angel eyes)
pin #8-GE/SW (healight vertical aim)
pin #9-GE/BR (healight vertical aim)
pin #10-BL/SW (healight vertical aim)
pin #11-BL/BR (healight vertical aim)

You can find the pin numbers on the inside of the clip (the side were the wires come out) i will post part number for the head light clip on monday (have to call the body shop)

The colors match up with the older x5s except for the parking light and turn signal they are all in one wire, so what i did is take the parking light wire

GR/GN left side 01-03 and conect it to the pin #1-BL/GN on the 04/05 left side

GR/BL right side 01-03 and conect it to the pin #1-BL/BR on the 04/05 right side

then for the angel eyes i taped into the Xenon wire, but then they only turn on when u have the Xenons on, i first tried it with the parking light but the problem that i had is that when u signal your angel eyes on the side that u are signaling form will blink too.

I assume that yours is not bi xenon. Thats not a big deal...but it would be nice. So...the angeleyes plug into the xenon...Have you tried any other ways other than the parking lights.
