Steering wheel doesn't move up anymore

I searched the posts and some said that that the motor might be out but it does move up like an inch just not the whole way so the motor does work. I've tried to help it move but it wouldn't move any. Any ideas on what I can try?

Is there a way to stop the automatic moveup of the steering wheel as to avoid wear and tear on the motor!? Asked the dealer and they said no!

It's covered under warranty. Why would you want to do that?

There is a small window that allows the steering wheel to completely move up and down the full range. You have to adjust the telescopic portion somewhere in the center. Too far in or too far out will lock the steering wheel and you can only move it up a 1/4" or so.

I noticed this too. Seems like poor design.
