Need advice! Should i sell my 4.8is ??? What's the value ?

Hello everybody, I am new to that board but had my 4.8is for a while. I really enjoyed the car but i think it's time for the car to go. I don't drive it much it's my second car. Should i sell it before the value goes down a lot dramatically or should I keep it and maybe it will hold it's value ??
It's 06 4.8is Black/Black with around 118K.

What do you think the value of the car now ? The KBB doesn't give a clear picture.

Thank you

KBB is rubbish, try Edmunds.com.

I agree with Tri... But Use Edmunds as a reference. Then go on Cars.com and ebay and find the market trend in price. From there you can find a happy medium on a price. From looking, the range is anywhere from $13.5K to $17K. A happy medium would be $14.5 or $15.

Well that depends what's a few years. Is it 2 or 4? If you paid twice that a few years ago, I am assuming you had somewhere around 30K to 40K miles. (Assuming you purchased it CPO'd, so that would bring the X off lease in '09 '10. Considering you put 80K - 90K miles on it, half is pretty damn good.

it's a six year old luxury SUV. just like thier counterparts (luxury sedans), these vehicles take the largest hit in value as they age. with that mileage, i hope you own it out right. consider it a $14K down payment for a new car.

Or..... Or consider it the safest, best handling, most powerful, and most utilitarian AWD automobile available for the $ difference between it and a newer car! And drive it till ya can't pay to fix it anymore!

I havent seen a nice black/black 06 anywhere for under $20k. Believe me, I looked hard all across the country for 6 months. Even with 120k they are not cheap! I almost bought one a few months back with 74k on it for $24k but it fell through. If its nice and clean the retail on it is $22,500. That is what the bank will finance on it. You will have no problem getting $18k or more for it. They dont last long at that price. Dont plan on using it as a trade. The bastards wont offer much but they'll put it on the lot for double!
Good luck
