I'd definitely go with the 4.8is front and rear bumpers...they look tons better. I think the aerokit looks terrible. I'm really disappointed that BMW can't come up with a better aerokit that doesnt make the X5 look cheap.

keep it sporty and simple. The 4.8 kit is the way to go, no doubt about it.

When you fellows say that the aero kit looks "cheap" and "horrible" could you expound on that a bit? Frankly, I was a bit concerned that the kit was going to make the vehicle look a bit busy, if you may, but after having it installed I must say that BMW knew what it was doing. In my opinion the kit complements the vehicle quite nicely. Its not over the top and just enough to give the vehicle a more substantial look. I have gotten nothing but nice compliments from people, even had a bloke at a petrol station driving a MB ML500 come over to me and wanted to know if my X was a limited edition.

To me it just looks tacked on and contrived. It's like BMW was trying too hard to make an aftermarket-style kit, like something you'd see from AC Schnitzer or Hamann. I think the 4.8is bumpers are a lot more reserved while at the same time being very aggressive. I've also seen people paint the entire front and rear bumpers in body color and I don't think that looks very good, either. In that case, it's too uniform without any matte black to break it up.
