Most of you know i crashed the X5 recently. Well anyway i need new front and rear everything. So while i am at it should i get the 4.8is front and rear bumpers oe should i go with the aero kit bmw offers. Please help i cant make up my mind and i only have a few days to decide. Also i want to go with clear corners on front where can i get them. I want oem euro headlights where can i buy them. By the way its an 04.

I was thinking about doing the 4.8 rear and aero front. I have the 4.8 kit, but still debating about the front.

though if I had to pick one or the other, I would go 4.8.

Im thinking about that also but its a little harsh financially. Youll be dropping $1.5k easy without the 4.8 rear flare theres one in ebay for $1080 but they seem shady. I called them and they told me its $1400.

Aero-kit will probably cost you more than 4.8 kit.

Actually the aerokit is cheaper.

I was told that there is no 4.8 kit it has to be bought separately. When you buy parts individually it will cost you more.

4.8 bumpers IMO.

I've always like the front end of the Aero Kit but the rear is just hideous. Maybe it's just me.....

IMHO - Aerokit of course ;)

From a design standpoint the Aerokit is:
1) consistent (no painted + unpainted parts)
2) sleeker (vs. the lines of the 4.8 bumper)

The 4.6/4.8 bumpers kind of annoy me. They look as if BMW painted some trim and bolted it onto the original unpainted lower bumper molding (from a manufacturing standpoint this could easily have been the case...); Whereas the aero kit is a new design entirely.
