What about inspection light reset? I understand oil, but Inspection? Can I do it manually or via GT1?

I replaced my Peake with CarSoft and carsoft did all that. Now I replaced carsoft with GT1 and can't do that

No need for Peake then

Happy to announce that GT1 accomplished what it was bought for in a first place. Hooked up to X5 and it told me that my car in "transportation mode" asking if I want to turn it off. I did. Now remote key works as it should.

Talking about software glitches... Funny that DIS explains how this mode can only be set at factory

Did you figure out what charger to use? Or maybe just run SSS on running car?

I'm waiting on a charger/power supply that's probably overkill for my purposes. I got it made to my spec (based on the Deutronic specs) for free. Should be receiving it soon. Thanks to weasel for helping me figure out what I need!

Cost around $260 but $50 of that is shipping from Australia.

EDIT: The most important part is the power supply mode. This mode should keep the voltage at 13.8 once the ignition draw is factored in. Also like that its really tiny (only 10" long x 4" wide I think) and not one of those wheeled autoshop kind - though those sometimes come with electrical outlets which could come in handy.

Here are the specs I had them use:

* Built in 4 digit LED volt meter indicates battery voltage
* 3 x LED indicate charging mode, (Boost , Float , Absorption)
* Reverse polarity protection
* Over load protection
* Fan cooled
* Selectable Modes: 12v/40A Power supply or 5 Stage battery charger
* Input 110VAC
* Output 14.2VDC @ 40 amps (Power Supply Mode)
* Boost On = 12.7V
* Boost Off = 14.2V
* Float On = 13.2V
* Absorption 6 cycle boost on
* Absorption Time 15 minute

12v/40A Power supply/ battery charger/Motorhome,caravan - eBay (item 350186647170 end time Apr-13-09 17:14:46 PDT)
