It's not a bad habit, it's a dangerous habit. Wear your seat belt. IMHO it should gong non-stop.

Its correct in dinging every 30 seconds or so. I know from experience but its not me, I fasten my seat belt. The woman in my life is slow to buckle her seat belt, because she has to get "situated" first. Well, I am typically antsy to drive, because who doesn't love driving their X5?!?! So we will be driving down the road for at least a couple miles sometimes before she even puts her seat belt on.

The dinging drives me batty sometimes but it is annoying enough to get you to buckle your belt, which is its entire job!

Great !!!! keep it that way until you learn to fasten your seatbelt. Dont wait until you get into a life changing event before you realize why engeneers put these in cars.

I Have a bad habit of not wearing mine all the time, just about 1/2 the time. I've actually seen customers cars come in with just a cut off buckle stuck in there to keep it from chiming...
