leave them in there. not worth it to remove the complete center console. replace the clips, they are not expensive.

rob I can totally help you out.
I just did it for a different reason but also fixed the broken spring on mine (was refinishing my center council so had to remove it)

Bro, its a 3 hour job Easy, and the spring is probable fine, its the plastic peice on the inside that breaks.
I repaired mine with electrical tape ( I should have bought a new one but it was a last minute thing that I forgot about.

Your entire center council has to be removed. ALL OF IT.

You still wanting to do it?

you WILL probably break a bunch of stuff taking out the center console, just a FYI. remove the console bin inside the armrest and remove the screws for the rear vent. then remove the carpeted panels on the side of the console, and then remove the 4 screws securing the rear cup holder, then remove the e-brake boot, and the leathertte cover for the gear shifter. remove the 4 other screws on the console and lift up, and look for the missing clip.

As MD says, you should try the Search Tab. I did and found this: Cup holder tabs in about 20 seconds. As long as the broken tab can't impede or break anything else why the hell don't you just leave it there. Centre console removal is like open heart surgery, so I've read. GL.
