it is an SUV man, dont do it again. glad you were honest about what happened, but it is silly to race a 335i with any X5.

I once raced a Nissan 350z and i beat him. Now i dont know if he didnt know how to change gears and thats how i beat him or his car just couldn't keep up with the x. so having that in my mind I thought i could beat the 335. thats all.

I believe 4.8is is a bit faster than 335i.

don't even think about it.... the 335i will kill any stock X5 on the market right now... like everyone else said... you have a truck!! i only rev at the light to get them fast cars going and watch them speed off.... it's fun!

bmw 335 : 306 HP
0-60 : 5.5sec -on Auto ; 5.7sec -Manual

bmw X5 4.4 N62 engine : 320HP
0-60 : 7sec

bmw X5 4.8 N62 engine : 360HP
0-60 : 6.1sec

bmw X5 4.6 M62 engine : 347HP
0-60 : 6.5sec

SO WE HAVE NO CHANCE AGAINST BMW 335i

Dont worry, be happy .
335 is BMW too

i hear to much doubting of the x. i wouldnt do anything with nothing less then a .6 or .8 but i can assure you my x5 has taken plenty of cars on a highway roll. there is no comparison with the weight of the x off the line so thats foolish to even try. BUT at a 40mph roll in shift mode you have a good shot.
