Looks like something the Pillsbury Doughboy would drive.

Infinity Escalade?! That's way too much chrome.

Almost forgot how great the X5 handles with summer tires. I swapped out the snow Pirelli Scorpion snow tires back out for my Michelin Diamaris tires. I love the Pirellis for cold weather, snow etc but they are squishy for handling on dry pavement. Putting the Michelins back on is like having a new vehicle, I love the way it cuts turns and holds the line. Just thought I'd share the fun I was having.

That infinit looks like a rhino with chrome on it. Their lead designer needs to be fired.

I agree - it is also unfortunate that it is posted in this thread - makes my eyes hurt!

When it arrives next week I'll install running boards and my trailer hitch. This car is perfect the way it is but I'd like to swap out the interior door/dash/console trim for Anthracite rather than the stainless. Thoughts?

David
I absolutely love the anthracite interior! I'm partial to it over the stainless. I imagine it would look good with creme or truffle as well.

Scott

Here are pics from the dealer just before I bought her.

Thanks for sharing those pics of your interior. It looks great with Anthracite and I cannot wait to do that update. I like the stainless but not as much. It seems to cold or something.

When did you buy your X5? How miles did it have at purchase?

I'm still awaiting mine to arrive. It was suppose to be here yesterday or today. I guess I won't see it today either since it's so late. I bought it from BMW of Tulsa and has 49k on the odo. Black on black with all options. I'm really excited to see how different it is from my '04 3.0 that I bought new.

Cheers,

David
