HELP! Locked out, key fob broken, key door lock mechanism broken
1. key fob remote battery dead for over 6 months. 2. door lock mechanism broken - i cant manually arm/disarm or unlock doors. 3. can't unlock doors using a wire and manually pulling on door latch b/c latch is double locked when armed. dealer wants to break window, climb in, hopefully unarm the car by cranking with the key (he hope by cranking it with the key, it will disarm the car). then replace the window and then replace the door mechanism. ok, hoodlums. need you advice how to break into my car CHEAPLY. help!!!

Not to sound like a jerk, but you can break the window yourself...you don't have to PAY someone to do it! If you do use this as a last resort, here's a tip. Use duct tape and tape the entire window you intend to break prior to doing it. This will cut down on the amount of shattered glass in the car. If your car battery is still good, maybe you should bring your registration or pinkslip to the dealer and have them make you a new remote key. Takes about 2-3 days. Or...maybe you parked it by mistake in the Tenderloin and someone broke your window?!
Hey, it happens all the time down there. Good Luck.

if the battery is still good. use Lock Out Tools
use it to hit the central locking button, to release double lock, and then use the tool to pull the door handle twice to open. |

Sadly on earlier models like 01 , the central lock release button is in the middle console.
That could be a tough one.
