oem E60 m5 wheels (someone put them on)

I know somebody put e60 m5 wheels on their x5, I just can't seem to find him. I wanted to know if it fits on the e53 x5 without the fender flares since it's front offset is et12 and it's rear offsets is et28.

They may well fit..but the front wheel with that offset would stick right out!The fender would not cover it!
Assuming you will fit oem spec tyres,255/50 on front and 285/45 rear,in fitting the M5 wheels and comparing them with the oem 19" set up,the result will be:-
FRONT:Tyre will stick out 36mm
REAR:Tyre will still out 17mm(this should be fine)

OT: but on what BMW lineup does they use the 14mm bolt holes as opposed to 12mm ?
17 versus 19mm head is another story...

To the guy above,
I know the e53 x5 uses the 19mm head and the 14mm bolt holes. I also know that the e46, e38, e39 all use 17mm head and 12mm bolt holes.

Also so do yourll think the oem m5 wheel set won't work without the fender flares? I wanted to get them bcuz they would be soo light. Bbs wheels that are forged.

Bolt head doesn't matter....u can buy any vArIant bolt setup there is.

The bolt hole does matter, so keep that in mind. If it's 12mm, you will need to find a machine shop that can bore it out to 14mm, bearing if there is clearance to mill out the additional 2mm required.

Keep that in mind as well......
