9 years with 160k miles

Here are some picture of mine 9 years old X5 with the maintenance/ repair list and some mods.....

Maintenance & Repair:
3 set of 20'' tires:
3 windows regulators.
1 T- Stat
2 outer CV boots
1 Valve cover and Oil separator.
2 set of rotors and three set of pads.
1 alternator and battery.
ABS modulor:

All other stuffs still original.
The X5 still drive like new and it look better than when it left the factory...

E92 sport seats ( front)
LED's rear tail with custom leds inner lights:
6000k AE rings,6000k fogs HID.
Brembo slot/drilled rotors:
Lower 3'' drop with B&G springs with Bilstein HD shocks:
All orther little mods i just dont think it important to list them up....

I'm not sure if you should be more happy about the milestone or the relatively "calm" (common?) list of repairs. Not too shabby at all.

We're only at 52k but we'll get there at 20k/yr for sure and plan to keep her well past 100k. She's CPO'd til 2012 so we'll see.

Anyway, you're X is smokin hot, love the M shifter and 3'' (3inch is a lot, no?) drop. I had the basic H&R sport springs done to my first X5 back in 2001 and it was only 1-1.5 inches and made a huge difference.

Same year as mine, though I don't hit 9 yrs until this Sept., and I am way
behind you in miles. Very reasonable "repair" list, and your '01 still looks fine!

I lived in Brownstown Twp. briefly, a long time ago, so I recognize your location...
Hope you get another 160k miles, or as long as you want, out of your X!
