Inspection II Service Kit from ECS
I am currently at about 55400 miles and since the weather is getting better, I am thinking to do an oil/filter change along with the air filter. I allowed maintenance to expire. I am still under CPO until 2012. (or 2011.. not sure ) So I ended up at ECS Tuning and bumped into their Inspection II Kit which has the following: BMW High Performance Synthetic Oil - 9 Quarts Oil Drain Plug With Crush Washer Oil Filter Kit Interior Air Filter (Cabin Filter) Air Filter NGK Spark Plugs - Set of 8 Fuel Filter Redline 75/90 Gear Oil - 2 Quarts So, how does this Inspection notification work? Do I get an alert on the dash when it approaches a certain milage? I think this site's home page Articles have a write up. I should go check it no? If I perform my own service, does the indicator still show up? How to reset? What do i do with the gear oil? |
