Dissasembly of Armrest?
I am able to get the midde phone tray out, and the botton black tray removed. The part where the latch is doesnt seem to come apart tho. |

Re: Dissasembly of Armrest?
There's two screws underneath the armrest when it's in the slide position
And also two more screws when you take out the cell phone tray look to the front after removing tray Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I found the 2 inside the cell phone tray. I will look for the other 2 in the slide position tonight.
Thanks. |

I just came across this old thread, and it was a life saver. Trying to figure out how to take the latch button out was a nightmare, and even my local BMW service had no idea and gave up after 30 mins of messing around.
One extra tip for anyone who stumbles across this - you need to pop off the little covers under the lid, in order to find these two screws. Insert a screwdriver beside the cover and gently walk it down the side to pry it off. Again, this isn't immediately obvious. |
