3rd row seating for E53?

I've tried searching this, but can't find anything close to it. I can't believe I would be the first one to ask this, but here goes....

I understand that BMW didn't offer 3rd row seating until the E70, but are there any aftermarket companies that make a 3rd row seat for the E53?

I know there are no dugouts in the cargo area "floor", but there's certainly enough hooks and loops back there that someone must have come up with a concept for it, no?

Thanks in advance for any help. Rob

Never heard of it. There just wouldn't be enough space back there for a third row of seats I think. Roof clearance would be an issue as well.

Why would you want to do that? there is no room for an extra row.

Here are two manufacturers of generic aftermarket 3rd row seats:

Little Passenger Seats - your source for custom SUV third row seating

3rd row seats | third row seats | seat | SUV seats | rear facing seats | child jump seats | aftermarket seating

My brothers and I grew up being transported in the 3rd row (rear-facing) of various Torino and LTD station wagons. All those seats were about this size, suitable for two children.
