03 X5 Fuse #48 keeps blowing. NEED HELP!
The car is at the shop and after 3 hours of shop time still no luck. Now, they want to take the dash apart and try to find a fault. Anyone out there encounter this problem and came up with a solution? Need Help! Thanks, Tuan |

There are one or two members that had the same problem as you.One of these found by trial and error that by replacing FUse 48- 7.5A with a 10A fuse ,resolved his problem..
Try this and see.If it still blows, then you will need to check the wiring from fusebox to ac/heater. |

Yeah, we tried replacing with a higher fuse but we have to go up to 20A fuse for it not to blow. Don't want to cause anymore damage with the higher fuse.
The shop wants to take the whole dash out in order to find the short. Not looking forward to that. |
