How to remove the rear door trim panel with sun blind on my 4.8is?

Hi all! I need help here, I need to remove the rear door trim panel of my 4.8is, however, before doing that, I need to remove the sun blind on the rear side window. Does anyone here has any idea how to remove the sun blind on the rear side window? Thanks for help!

It has been a long time but I don't think you have to remove the blind at all. I had to take off my rear door panel with sunshade blind when I did a door carrier for that door. Just roll it down. It's all self-contained within the door panel.

Thanks for your promp reply! But I am talking about the sun blind on the rear side window, which is the small triangle fix window. Do you mean I even don' t have to remove that blind?

It looks like no from OEM. I haven't gone out to her yet but that shade is connected to the frame of the window, so removing the door card should be normal procedure. The main sunshade is connected to the door card, but not the aux sun blind.

Did you look at the "How's to" for X5 window regulator? Insert a small flat-head screw driver at the top, holding the clip down while pulling the top out. You have to remove that to get to a torx screw behind it.
Here's a PDF file

^ What he said.

Oh, that one just pops off. It is held on by a couple of metal clips. Do use care when prying it off though. The clips could bend.
