Help! Driver side window control button won't work

Hi, need help on this one. My 2006 x5 driver side window control all of a sudden stopped working. I think there might be a little bit of snow got into the door panel last week(before that it was working great). The passenger and rear seat window controls all work just fine. Just the driver side(all four window buttons don't work on the driver side door trim). Is there a fuse that I can check and replace? Is there a quick fix(like maybe disconnecting the battery)? I don't have time to take apart the door panel right now, unfortunately.

Thanks.

Check Fuses. Glove box, there are a ton of them. I don't remember which is which, but each window in the front has a separate fuse.

Is that whole panel shot? Meaning the Window lock out and mirror controls dont work either?

Either moisture in the connections inside the door panel, or damage to the harness where it goes from the door to the jamb.

I had this when i left the drivers window open one day and it started raining. The fuses are in the glove box, I can remember the numbers but google them it should be an easy find.

Mine would light up but wouldnt work. All other windows were fine.

I replaced the whole unit as fuses did nothing. I bought a good condition one for a bout £45 off eBay, and replaced. Its been working perfectly ever since!

The window switch module in the door panel comes out quite easily without dismantling anything else. Just lever it up gently with a plastic ruler, or something similar. Once you have the controller out check the connections on the three plugs underneath and re-seat them a few times. I discovered that bad connections on this module can cause a world of grief when I had to do my door carrier a few weeks ago...
