How to replace airbag suspensions on a 7 seaters X5 E70?

I replaced once on my 5 seater, but now I own a 7 seater....just wondering do I have to remove the third row seats to do the replacement? Any advice?

Thanks

by the way they do make conversion kits to make the rears a normal spring setup now if you want to rid yourself of the airbag issues

There's no difference. The "7 seater" is just the car that has the third row option.

No. I replaced one of my bags in my 3rd row optioned E70. It's all done outside the car. There's no need to do anything inside the car at all.

That's the only tough part, really. Honestly, I didn't know you could spot that from under a seat anyway! It just took some patience and slow rotation to get it to align. Literally took me 15 minutes to do once jacked up.
