No, you did not need to bleed the brakes. And, correct, only bleed if the system has been opened, which you did not do by simply replacing the pads.
How do you like the braking feel of the Akebono's? Did the pad sensor fit properly in the pad and fit the holding brackets, sockets, etc? |

My Akebono pads started squealing from 15mph to 0. Getting annoying.
Any solutions other than returning them? |

I used the armor all brake dust repellent and after 80 miles hwy driving and about 35 city, my wheels are pretty much clean. There is a bit of brake dust but no where near what it would be without it.
