buying an E70 Sports steering wheel

i have a non sport steering wheel and i saw a SPORT Steering wheel selling locally for cheap, didnt come with an airbag though.. can i reuse my current airbag for it to work?

the one for sale is like below

The answer is no. The shape of the airbags between non-sport and sport are very different.

no, it will not fit. I have an M Steering wheel tri clor with paddles for sale if anybody is interested. Controls are included. No airbag.

thanks.. bought a set instead sports SW + airbag. now my question is how to lock my steering wheel so it will not be moving when i removed it?

doing the swap this weekend. TIA.

You don't need to 'lock' it - the wheel and steering column have alignment notches on them so you can put the wheel on perfectly aligned.

It's an easy process... Have had mine off a couple of times and swapped the sport for an ///M wheel a couple of years ago. Shouldn't take you more than 30 minutes. total. As per previous post, the wheel and shaft have a notch in them, so lining them up is a snap!

The actual airbag is the same. You just need to swap out the airbag cover, which you can purchase separately. I followed this thread, but never got around to doing it.
