Dinan S2 e53 4.8is or 08 e70

I'm having trouble deciding guys. I currently have a 04 4.8is with 108k miles. Come's pretty much fully loaded from the factory. I have an opportunity to get into an 06 with 60k miles for a small price with all the important maintenence done on it. I have all the dinan goodies minus the exhaust laying around at home to turn this into a full Dinan S2. All I would do down the road is some Brembos and maybe an NBT retrofit somewhere down the road. I am a big fan of the e53 platform from the handling, the sound, to the overall styline but the e70 has the updated electronics and is an overall updated car and a new platform for me to play around with. I've had two e53's in the past 4 years(3.0 then 4.8is). I'm thinking the e53 is probably a much funner car to own but looking for someones opinion thats had both or driven both.

I have an e53 4.8is (no Dinan) and an e70 4.8i Sport. Given my experience and your options, it would be an easy pick: e53.

Thanks for the input. Any reason in particular.

Both electronics, especially nav and such, are out of date. So it comes down to which drives best and is most fun. For me, that is the e53. The e70 has enough polish to deaden the fun a bit The e53 is a pretty raw animal, a beast. And with Dinan...no contest. Just get a Garmin or upgrade the nav system to Dynavin and add a camera, and you are current with the X's of today (other than the M, which seems like it could be fun).

On the e53 there are well documented, known issues or annoyances. My air suspension has been fine, but if it starts to fail I'd replace it with conventional stuff. So that is no barrier. The e70 also has its issues, many are the same. So since I prefer the feel and drive of the e53 I would go that way all day long (in fact, if I found a really good black/black e53 4.8is I would sell the e70 and keep two e53s). You may prefer the opposite, but you asked my opinion

E53. Just a better drive and the Dinan additions make it an easy decision.
