Help identifying rims...

Sirs,

2013 X5 (E70) (new to me) , trying to identify the rims, cannot locate
on line. any ideas where these are from ? I'm assuming aftermarket
but really don't know. Thank you .

p.s. recent alignment at BMW...they used a term for which I am unfamiliar.
Tire passed "road force" but was out of balance. Have heard toe, camber,
thrust angle etc. , "road force" is new to me ...what does it mean , and how
is it measured ?

They look like chrome plated Style 334s to me...
OE size was 9x19 square and took 225 50 19" tires.

Handy wheel spotting guide:
Felgen-Katalog - BMW-Treff - der Treffpunkt für alle BMW-Fans und -Fahrer

No idea if they are chrome plated OEs or aftermkt.

Thank you ... I think you nailed it.... just a chromed version. My bride likes
to curb rub... so I thought it best I locate replacement before need.

any idea on the road force terminology ?

Thanks again.

Here's the device they used to "Road Force" balance your wheels/tires...
Road Force Touch® GSP9700 Wheel Balancer - The World's #1 Diagnostic Wheel Balancing Machine | Hunter Engineering Company

It spins the wheel/tire up to speed, like all balancing machines, and also applies a load to be sure its stays balanced when loaded...

Thanks John... that would cover it. I was unaware of the technology.
I wish they would have given me the Road Force print out. Solved the
slight tremor in the steering wheel between 45-65., and, lost the right
drift that was gradually occurring. Glad it wasn't a gremlin in the suspension.

Like the way the the X5 hunkers down at 85 , doesn't get squirrely. Have
noticed the side view mirrors do contribute to wind noise at higher speeds.
Guess I need to turn the tunes up louder !

Thanks again.

I've found that most of the wind noise seems to be from the sunroof, even when it's closed. If you close the sun shade, it gets even quieter.
Yeah, I just turn the tunes up...

It's a great ride at most any speed. Gotta love it.
After all, it was designed with the autobahn in mind.

Ha ! when I drove the autobahn they locals would be flashing the high beams from 5 miles back... when they passed it sounded like a mosquito blew by...
they do feel the need for speed.
