Clive Owen is back...in a new BMW film that debuts 10/23/16

If you were a fan of the original BMW films (The Hire) that came out approx 16 years ago...BMW is debuting a new film on 10/23/16 titled "The Escape" starring our man Clive again as the driver.

be nice if you actually see the BMW he's driving. I see a HUMVEE, Charger (maybe) and Helicopters.

They did show brief glimpses of the vehicle (or at least the "stunt" vehicles)...not in the trailer snippet...but the other making of the trailer snippet.

The BMW model used in the making of the movie is still "hidden"...but if anyone is really up on the new models...they may be able to figure it out by the roof-line, side view mirrors, handles, hood, or interior. If it's still not enough to "sniff out"...I guess we'll have to wait until 10/23/16 when the whole movie debuts.

it looks like a 3 series with that stupid non moveable navi screen that just sits there on the dash.

After seeing release pics and videos of the new 2017 G30 5 series...and the 2nd trailer of "The Escape"...looks like it will be the new "star" in the upcoming BMW movie?

BTW, it took BMW about 40 years to go through the "E" model nomenclature. The "F" models just started less than 10 years ago...and they've already burned though "F" and now are into the"G" models. Looks like each model platform had approx 1 "F" generation

that's because every body style gets their own model designation these days. E36 was the designation for the 4-door, coupe, convertible, touring and compact. same as E46. E9x were all different numbers for each style and nowadays the Ms have different designations again. i'm sure it makes sense to someone...

Yeah, ya gotta have a cheat-sheet or list to keep up now-a-days. Same with the engines...I used to be able to rattle off the old and new engines...but sinve around the 2007 model year, I have to do a Wikipedia search if someone calls off one of the new engines.
