https://www.boschdiagnostics.com/cdr/ I am pretty sure you (or your insurer) will need to hire someone to pull it. Even if you could get a hacked copy of the cdr access software/hardware, just you handling the data may impact the interpretation/validity. Edit: Not sure when BMWs began with a compliant EDR...seems 2013MY and newer? They may have had something earlier, but not the bosch cdr...or so it seems Last edited by ard; 12-08-2016 at 06:03 PM. |

I guess my question is why are you interested in the data?
I know there are 3rd party "consultants" that do this for some manufacturers. Sometimes you can understand parameters that are retrieved, however, there is often a LOT more Hex data that even the people capturing the data cannot decode. This is usually only at a manufacturers level that they can decode and display the extended parameters.
