Anthracite Headliner in Sports Package

Two Questions: Please take a look at the attached picture. I am aware that when you order sport package, you get someting called (775) Anthracite Headliner. First Question: I am not sure what that means when you select the sand beige nevada leather interior.

Second Question: What do you think this two tone treatment is?

Antracite is very dark headliner. Sand beige interior with anthracite headliner on sports package.
Not feeling the 2-tone interior.

If I had to wager a guess, those are the backs of the comfort seats in a 3.0 with standard leatherette. The M5 comfort seats are two tone (with the back always black) like this if ordered with extended leather. If the full leather option on the M5 is choosen, then the seat backs are leather which is the same color as the rest of the interior.

I was told by my salesman at BMW, instead of being gray color, it would be black color.

That looks like an 07 with premium package + comfort seats, and not sport package. The xx-pillars would be black as well as the headliner if you had sport package.

Doesn't sand come with beige love dash, carpets and seat backs? Is this an oyster LCI with comfort seats and no sport pack?

Those are absolutely multicontour front seats (see the horizontal pivot line at the mid seat back). It also doesn't have the black headliner or everything above the bottom of the window would be done in black.

I actually like the two tone, as the black is in areas that would get dirty really easily, while the lighter color lighten's up the interior. This is the standard set up with the '11 in "Oyster" which is white.

Having 2 year olds in car seats who frequently kick the upper seat-backs, it is now no mystery to me why BMW chose to make that part of the seat a hardened plastic rather than leather. One wipe with a cloth and it's back to a nice clean black. Good choice BMW.
