Paddle Shifters

I'm strongly considering buying a new 2007 4.8 X5, but I have a couple quick questions first:

1. Is there any way to retrofit paddle shifters into the E70? I know it can be done for the E53.

2. Will the new sport automatic transmission that is being offered in the facelifted 5-series ever make it to the X5? If so, any idea when?

3. Any idea when the automatic trunk will be available (May '07?)?

Thanks.

Hi,

the E70 has new automatic transmission which works much faster than former E53. Maybe it´s not the sport modus coming in E60 in near future, but sounds Ok as it is.

Maybe Vincent, the guy with the steering wheels + paddles, will develope something. I hope so. Mine in the E53 worked perfectly.

Best regards
Alex
