Wood gear shifter installed
Like some people before me, I also installed the wood gear selector. I personally like it better than the brushed aluminum, but that is highly personal. Thanks go to Larry (RTZX5) for giving me couple of hints so I manged to do it myself without braking anything, although the trim piece is very fragile.

Hmm interesting, It looks good UNTIL you see that hideous black plastic on the back-side, why oh WHY can't it be fully wood like on our E46 3?

It's not plastic on the backside.
